About Me

hi my names mark, and ive been keeping poultry for a few months now:D. i started of with 3 lovely pekin hens( lavender, buff, and gold birchen) ever since then my pekin  range has gradually began to expand. pekins are my favourite breed and currently the only breed i keep. so if your after any pekins or pekin hatching eggs give me a shout. the colours i currently keep are:

Lavender Buff White Columbian Millefleur Gold Birchen Cuckoo Lemon Cuckoo Red Black

i also now keep Indian Runner Ducks

Breeds i am currently trying to breed:

Buff Columbian and lavender cuckoo.

Colours i am looking:

Chocolate, mottled, blue, and silver partridge/birchen, gold partridge.

There is no such thing thats why ive never seen one, its not in the breed standard so therefore you cant call it rare? it obviously started as a silkie cross sussex and the silkie feathering has been bred through that way but you should state this as it isnt rare its just the fact someone made them up.
I bred silver blue birchen sussex but i didnt advertise them as being rare i made them up

Sorry to burst your bubble but silkied Sussex are not very very rare there's no such thing :/ its a cross breed. Don't see anything mentioned in the standards about them being mega rare ... :) Emma

That Silver Sebright chick is very friendly it lies with my 2 week old puppies and then sits on are shoulders while we walk about the house! Were pleased with it thanks! Me and My dad are having a compitition to see who makes the most money out of gold or silver because he is buying two gold hens that are about 11 weeks!
