Hi William

One of the best laying chickens are Leghorns, but they can be very flightly. I'll have Lavender Leghorns ready in Spring if you're intrested. If ur looking for something traditional I'd go for Sussex...their decent layers. I have Buff Sussex but I dont know will I be breeding them for nxt year. I do have Domiant Light Sussex ready for laying in May. If ur looking for Sussex I'd advise you go for Light, but if you wont somehting different u can get Splash Birchin Sussex / Sliver Sussex if u would like them give Emma Moulds a shout shes on this Site...
